Shischkel & Eieberrtch Movie Reviews

Journal note for 2-5-08
We had a really great visit with Naomi yesterday. We want to just take her home right now, so bad.
The other American couples who are here have court today. We are hoping to be assigned a court date soon.
We can’t believe the down time, there is just so much of it. We got some advice to try to enjoy it because it will be a long time until we get down time again. I’m sure that is true! Well with that said, I decided we should put movie reviews on our blog, since we are watching so many! Call us Shischkel & Eieberrtch.
Kitty and Craig’s movie reviews……………………………….you’re comments are welcome.
These are DVDs we are watching on the laptop; rating 1*(a real sleeper) thru-5*(awesome)
Best of Chris Farley S.N.L.
**** Kitty; I like to look at the other comedians faces during S.N.L., if they can’t hold back laughter, you know they’ve got someone who is really funny. I like most of his work, but I think my favorite is the ”Motivational Speaker.”
** Craig- Okay comedy, basically all about fat jokes. It’s fun to see all of the SNL cast members when they were younger. Best skit Motivational speaker.
The Interpreter
**** Kitty; this was a really cool movie(nice review, huh?)
**** Craig – Very good movie. Nicole Kidman did a great job. Sean Penn vas good too.
The Wedding Crashers
****Kitty; It is hilarious! It’s all funny, but the small part with Will Farrell sticks out in my head the most right now, that guy just kills me.
**** Craig – Liked it much better this time. Only saw it in the theater when it first came out. Funniest scene is Vince Vaughn talking to the priest at breakfast over a glass of scotch. Christopher Walken was great as the dad/senator.
Inside Man
** Kitty; Denzel Washington is always really cool in movies, ya gotta love him. It was a good movie, but there were times I just wanted to rest my eyes, and it was hard to get them back open!
** Craig – Good idea but came up short. Denzel is always good in any role though.

The Italian Job
***Kitty; It makes me want to drive around really fast in a mini-cooper, those cars were sweet!
*** Craig – a much better version of the Ocean’s series. The Mini Coopers were cool and the boat chase scene was fun. Made me think about summer and the need for speed in the Larson.

Flightplan
*****Kitty; this movie was the best we’ve seen so far. I must admit that the content in the first half hour,(a Mom who can’t find her kid) was giving me high blood pressure, Jodie Foster is so cool, and it had a lot of suspense. I really enjoyed it.
**** Craig – Two thumbs up. This is the best movie so far although I was concerned about Kitty freaking out but she made it. Whew!!! Jodie Foster rules. Sweet plane too – I wish we would be flying on one of them.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
***Kitty; this movie was really good, especially once it got going. The dialog while shooting at each other was great.
** Craig Poor Jennifer Aniston. She never stood a chance. Funny movie with some great one liners: “Hey Honey are you dead yet?”

Casino Royale
****Kitty; This is the best bond movie ever made. Fianally it's not so male chavanist! Danial Craig is the hottest bond, the only one close is Sean C.
***** Craig - I agree with Shischkel on this being the best Bond flick ever made. No fancy unrealistic gadgets to help Bond and a way sweet car. Good action and a good story - Bond falls in love........

Hi Craig and Kitty --

Awesome photos - she looks so beautiful . . . like a gift from God with those big bows on top of her head!

The movie reviews are a nice touch - Shischkel & Eieberrtch would be the Russian words, huh?

We're enjoying the Wild game right now -- shooting strong against Detroit - they're up 2 to 1 going into the third.

Bob and I will be in London on February 16 -- Bob until the 19th and me until the 22nd. I'm on a project from the 19-22 so we were able to tack some extra days on the front end of the trip. Sending you lots of warm Minnesota hugs . . . love you - keep the good news coming! -- Marlene

Nice to hear from you - God bless you for your patience. Kitty -- just flash them all that big beautiful smile of yours and let them feel the love -- the hell with it! --Bob

Nice. I'm shoveling your driveway, walking your dog and watching your kid and you're watching movies. Ok, I didn't do any of that. Yet! But aren't there any gulag museums to visit or something. Maybe a trip to the "Glories of the Soviet Past" exhibition? Get out. See the frozen Amor. Throw rocks at the Chinese (the ones not stuck in train stations).

I'm not sure The Italian Job was better than Oceans 12.
