We had a busy and fun summer. We spent most weekends at our cabin in Turtle Lake. We went to the Minnesota Zoo and enjoyed the Russia's Grizzley Coast exhibt very much. I put in a few pictures from our visit to "Fawn-Doe-Rosa" , we love that place! It was really fun to take Naomi to the county fair in the back pack. She was amazed to watch to lights on the rides a night, just like Scotty was as a toddler.
Louie started 8th grade. Scotty started kindergarten, the first day of school, when he boys were gone, she started climbing out of the crib. Her little taste of freedom has cost her Dad and I several nights of sleep!

Naomi is two! Schools out for Louie and Scotty!
Here we have Louie on his last day of 7th grade, and almost 13 years old. Scotty playing t-ball. Our day at court in St. Croix county finalizing our adoption. Naomi the bathing beauty in her back yard swimming pool. We had a 2nd birthday and baptism party, but on the actual day of her birthday we went to dairy queen and bought her a banana split, she liked it till I light the candle, look at her face, she's clinging to Dad, why did Mom just light my ice cream on fire?

April 9th,2008, spring?
Today was in the upper 40’s here, a little cold, I thought, but I insisted that the kids play outside for 3 hour after Scotty came home from Montessori. Naomi loves to try to run with the pack of neighborhood kids. I follow along trying to keep her from getting hurt or running in the street. She likes her little “bike” that picture was taken before all our snow melted.
Notice Scotty’s Sponge Bob P.J.’s? You all know Sponge Bob lives in a pineapple in Bikini Bottom, right? I need to get out more….
There is handsome, proud “Dada.”
Yesterday after Kindergarten registration for Scotty, we three went to the Minnesota Zoo. It was great! It was cold, but we had the place to ourselves, even the baby farm animals. I was able to just let Scotty run, he was in his element! I forgot to bring my camera, darn.
Today we went to Como Zoo and met my dear sister in law, Laura and Naomi’s closest cousin, “Ned”. Now Naomi has been to the Moscow Zoo, MN Zoo and Como Zoo. I’ll make an animal lover out of her yet! There she is happy in her crib, usually she is crying in there if she’s not asleep. I painted the walls in there so long ago; I still sometimes am surprised there is a real live girl in there
